Our Free Launch Event | Keele Hub, Fri 5th & Sat 6th August
We’re holding our very own showcase event at Keele campus to mark the formal launch of our new social enterprise. Come along on either day and ‘escape’ with us and learn how to get ‘inspired by nature’. (Free Tickets available below).
Come and meet all thescapeartists, who’ll be there helping you get creative. We’ll have loads of interactive creative workshops and green exercise demonstrations, helping you to:

Highlights | What’s going on during the event
Pottery Throwing – Throw a pot on a potter’s wheel. Get some practice ready for BBC2’s ‘The Great Pottery Throw Down’ and keep your very own creation*.
Mosaic Making – Help thescapeartists create a unique collaborative ‘Sustainability’ themed mosaic. Join us making and decorating clay mosaic tiles using ‘nature inprinting’ – using leaves from Keele’s Arboretum! Help us to create a permanent reminder of our launch event, which will educate future hub visitor’s on how to tread a lighter footprint on our planet.
Nature Printing – Take a leaf out of our book and do some nature printing – and take your artwork home with you.
Garden Art – Learn how to make mini-gardens and inspired garden art.
Therapeutic Nature Photography – Chill out with our nature photograph slideshows. Learn how photography can help us see things differently, promoting mindfulness and wellbeing.
Wildlife Habitat Making – ‘Bring nature closer to home’ by bringing wildlife to your own back yard – make a simple wildlife habitat?
Artists’ Galleries – Enjoy our ‘inspired by nature’ gallery – gain some artistic inspiration from nature (like our artists do).
Green Exercise Taster and Demo – Try a ‘walk on the wild side’ with a taster session in Nordic walking (pre-booking required). Find out why it’s such a great way to ‘green your exercise’.
* Fired pots will incur a small charge and will require collecting. Charge will be refundable on purchasing a pottery day experience or pottery making course with human-nature.

(Our event is intended to showcase our services which are predominantly aimed at adult health and wellbeing, using art activities and green exercise delivered from high quality green spaces. Children are welcome to attend, but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times).
