Our Services | for business
Our greenspacescapes team building, workplace wellbeing and recovery and resilience services provide an important source of income. This enables us to make a difference in the wider community and environment.
Our services for business are a great way for your organisation to show its true commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and genuine ‘care’ for local community. It’s a nice way to add social value, but to get something of value in return to benefit your own organisation. What we do for business might also fit very nicely with your own wider workplace wellness and work-life balance initiatives.
With our team building we’ll help your team to ‘connect’ with each other and with nature, getting them active and inspired by the landscape. Why not ‘be active’ with our outdoor experiences like greenway cycling or ‘keep learning’ with something new like Nordic walking, or ‘be creative’ with a mindful photography walk?
We can also offer a range outdoor activities, experiences and green exercise, and experiential learning activities which can also mesh well with many aspects of the Workplace Wellbeing Charter, making it easier for you to achieve your accreditation at the commitment, achievement and excellence levels. Our initiatives and programmes will help you tick the boxes for key aspects of the charter like:
- physical activity
- mental health
- absence management.
Overall we can help your staff learn new wellbeing skills, which help them improve their work-life balance and stay resilient and well. We even offer specific recovery programmes to help employees back to work, who might be struggling with stress, depression and anxiety (nowadays quite common emotional wellbeing issues).
- Team Building – We offer corporate events with a difference – that make a difference. Not just great fun, but experiences which will make employees feel stronger, fitter and revitalised, not just as individuals but as a team. We provide outdoor activities and physical exercise in inspiring landscapes ranging from Nordic walking to greenway cycling – through to mountain biking! For the less adventurous we can offer gentler and more creative pursuits like nature photography or poetry writing walks.
- Workplace Wellbeing – We hope to form long term, lasting relationships, which go beyond a single team building event. Caring for employee wellbeing is a major contributory factor to employee satisfaction and strongly associated with high levels of employee engagement and productivity. Unchecked employee wellbeing can easily deteriorate, leading to disengagement, workplace stress, and a lapse in mental wellness – bringing extra costs through disruption and absenteeism. A workplace wellbeing event with us, can be a good starting point for a wider wellbeing initiative. Programmes like ‘Workwell’ (BITC), Workplace Wellbeing Charter (NHS) or the Health and Wellbeing Framework (Investors in People) – also feature apsects of the ‘Ways to Wellbeing’. Here is an extremely powerful video from BITC indicating the cost disengagement and presenteeism (being at work but not engaged) and why it makes business sense to invest in employee wellbeing:
- Recovery & Resilience Programmes – We offer places on our wellbeing recovery programmes for employees who are off work, but looking for a smooth ‘return to work’. This may form part of an occupational health recovery plan for people off work with stress, depression or anxiety – giving a more efficient return to work and with less likelihood of future relapse. Time away from the workplace and home environment and connecting with nature can give employees the time and space to re-assess their work-life balance and provide them with new interests that will support their on-going wellbeing resilience. This can be done as part of a phased return to work programme, in conjunction with your occupational health provider. If you have, or know of colleagues that need help with return to work – please let them know about our service.
By purchasing our business services you give us the support we need to help others, whilst at the same time meeting your own corporate social responsibility (CSR) obligations. It’s a great way to show you really care about your employees’ health and wellbeing, value proper engagement, and demonstrate your wider support for the local community and environment.
